Sandra Izsadore's influence on Fela Kuti ignited a fire out of which Afro-beat was created. Immortalized as a driving force behind Fela's music in the hit Broadway musical, Fela!, Sandra Izsadore's life and time she spent with Fela is filled with conflict, spirituality and an unabashed will to create social and political change.
