Below are some style examples to consider. The main decisions are: 

1. Widescreen or 16x9

2. Subject looking to camera or off camera

Widescreen gives a more cinematic feel to videos while 16x9 is more of a standard aspect ratio we see on web videos. 

Subjects looking to camera can create a more intimate connection with the viewer while subjects looking off screen more commonly seen in documentaries.
